Lisbeth and Jason had a dream wedding at the Yellow House Inn. This incredible couple from Nashville had a sweet outdoor ceremony, escaping rain by only minutes.
I was so impressed with the talented groom who wrote a song for Lisbeth and it played while she was escorted down the grassy lawn by her father. Everything about their wedding reminded me to go home and kiss my husband, call my friends more often, and enjoy life just a little bit more. Thank you for the reminder Lisbeth and Jason. Thanks for helping me 'take it all in.'

Scott and I are still sharing the wedding bliss with this incredible group of people! I keep pinching myself to make sure this is all real. We are going to hang out on the beach today, enjoying a little break and also celebrating our five year anniversary.

I am thrilled to say that we will be going to the Cayman Islands, where Jim and Keri live, to capture more images in January 2009. I promise to bring my own snorkel next time Jim! We truly had a great time with this couple, and can't wait to share more memories in the future.

Welcome to Anguilla!

Keri and Jim are getting married in a little over 24 hours, right here on this beach outside of our villa. It will be intimate, sacred, and completely beautiful. Scott and I are blessed to have this opportunity to capture such an amazing event. We flew from Asheville to Charlotte, then onto St. Maarten. After arriving, we took a 20 minute boat ride to the pristine island of Anguilla. Words cannot express how 'untouched' this island is. The professional staff at Ku Resort have made our stay so comfortable! Stay tuned for more images coming soon.

Brittany & Will

Brittany planned the pink wedding of the decade! From her stunning pink calla lily bouquets, to the pink ties that the groomsmen wore, it was sweet and had Brittany's charm all over. Their reception at Maggie Valley Country Club was so much fun that Jamey and I didn't even sit down! So many great photo opportunities. These are just a few of my favs. Thank you for letting us capture you all. I hope to follow you thru the years, not missing a beat.

Reid turns one!

I can't believe our little boy is now one year old. It's official, I'm no longer calling him "Baby Reid" We had a cookout, swimming, bubble extravaganza at our home to celebrate the occasion. It was great to see friends and see all the kids having a great time. I have mixed emotion about this birthday for Reid. Our children are growing so fast. It seems like I was just sitting at Regina Holder's birthday party having contractions, like it was yesterday. I can't believe how much he has grown and I'm constantly surprised by all the new things he shows us. I am trying to soak up every minute of this amazing blessing that God has given us.

Leslie and Tim

This engagement session at the Arboretum was an awesome opportunity to hang out with Leslie and Tim. We had a great time getting caught up on life, and they updated me on our mutual friends, Summer and Derek. I shot their wedding almost 2 years ago! Time flies. I am honored that this sweet couple has chosen us to capture their entire wedding weekend in July. Stay tuned for Leslie's bridal portraits. I will be taking them very soon!
